Yeah...I look Grumpy sometimes...but hey, I can't help the face God gave me! If you see my eyes in person they look like caramel…and I really can be a sweet guy, trust me! I love tennis balls, kongs...and treats! I gotta give the keyboard to a human now...they wanna talk about me more I bet! Bailey is a very sweet dog who is going to need a strong owner and a home with no children. The reason for that is that he can be very toy/food/owner protective. He would do best as an only dog, though he and the other dog in his foster home don't have any major issues. This is because the other dog stays away from Bailey when food or toys are around and allows Bailey to be the boss. Bailey and his foster fur-brother play tug of war and wrestle a lot. They enjoy the play time, but when Bailey is done, he is done. He lets the other dog know that enough is enough by grumble growling. He is not your typically needy Cocker, though if his human sits down, Bailey is right there beside and doesn’t want another dog or person to get between them. Bailey does LOVE tennis balls and toys and with some work on teaching him that you will trade a treat and/or praise for said ball he will make a fun play-time dog. Right now he doesn't understand the give it back so you can throw it again part as well as he could. He is VERY smart and will learn fast. Bailey is housetrained and knows how to use a doggy door. He sits politely for treats. He is not afraid of storms and loves to snuggle on the couch. He gets his dinner in a 12 cup muffin tin to keep him from eating too fast. If you are looking for a one on one relationship with a loyal furkid, Bailey could be your guy. Don't let that grumpy appearance on his face keep you from meeting this boy...he will make someone a wonderful companion
