Hi my name is Callie! Aren't I cute??!! I am still a puppy. And all puppy at that….. Playing is so much fun. Not just with my toys but with my Cocker brothers.

Guess what? My Mommy is a Cocker Spaniel!!! She was rescued from a kill shelter just before she gave birth to our family. Dad- well who knows?? Some people think he was a Catahoula Leopard Dog, and they are really smart dogs! My legs are a lot longer than a Cocker Spaniel's legs, but my body is pretty lean. I'm not going to be a real big girl, but a great size to play with and hug on.

Some boring stuff. I am potty trained, crate trained and up to date on all my medical stuff. I have to stay in my crate when my foster parents are gone because I am still in my "chewing on everything stage." Sorry about your shoes foster Mom . . .

My foster family works really hard at helping me adjust to new and different things. Puppies have so much to learn. Sometimes I still get scared but not very often. I have been in foster care all my life and would really like a place to call "my home." Do you have room in your heart and home for me? I promise to bring you years of love, devotion and tail wags.

Because puppies are so cute, so very appealing, people tend to minimize "the puppy factor." Please do not minimize this factor.   Adopting a puppy is a long term commitment, both in time and training.   The puppy will need patient and loving care and training to become the dog you wish it to be.   Just like good children, good dogs are brought up by being taught right from wrong and being trained up to adult expectations.   If you let a puppy raise itself, within a few months, you will have an unmanageable dog on your hands.

This puppy will need house-training and obedience training.   He or she will need chew toys, acceptable things with which to work on growing those grown-up dog teeth and as an outlet for puppy energy.   And most importantly, like a child, he or she will need, and demand, acceptable amounts of attention from the humans in the environment.   If you are certain you can make this type of commitment to this animal, send your application today.
