The bedding contains two labrador puppies. Timmy's foster mom is also fostering a momma lab and her babies. Timmy thinks they are his. This is Timmy babysitting the lab puppies. |

Timmy is a year old parti colored cocker. He was rescued from a shelter in Grand Prairie days before he was scheduled for euthanasia. He came into our program with hook worms and heartworm and has since completed treatment and is a healthy, sweet, and handsome young man. He would do fine in a house with other dogs, but he prefers hanging out with his human friends as opposed to wrestling with his 80 lbs foster siblings. However, Timmy has recently started playfully chasing the other dogs in the yard when they play fetch and was even caught wrestling with one of his foster siblings!!! So, as his comfort level rises... he continued to loosen up and feel like part of the pack! He is crate trained and house broken, but with any new dog, he too will need training/coaching to help him understand his new household rules. Timmy likes playing the occasional game of "Chase Me" when he runs off with dirty clothes and wants us to chase him. We are unsure about cats, but he does play well with the children in our neighborhood. We encourage all our dogs to be supervised around children at all times to avoid any unforeseen problems. Overall, he is a very handsome and loving dog who makes a great companion for just about anyone. He will need to have a follow up visit in 4 months to make sure his heartworm treatment is successful. You can read more about heartworm and how they can be prevented at http://www.heartwormsociety.org/article.asp?id=11
